TOPIC: God Is Love
Text : 1 John 4 : 16
_And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. GOD IS LOVE, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him._
God is love personified. Love gets its proper definition from Who God is and what God does.
Everything God says or does is an expression of love.
The words of God are words of love.
The voice of God is the voice of love.
The ways of God are the ways of love
The thoughts of God are the thoughts of love. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love. Therefore, the promptings of love are the promptings of the Spirit of God. The leading of love are the leading of the Spirit of God.
The language of the Spirit of God is the language of love. The instructions of the Spirit of God are the instructions of love.
If you allow the love of God to guide you, then you are being led by the Spirit of God.
We enthrone the lordship of Jesus over our lives by allowing the love of God to govern us
We follow God by following the ways of love.
When we follow the love of God, we are following our hearts because the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
_And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us._ (Rom 5 : 5)
