Text: 1 John 4: 16
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. GOD IS LOVE, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
God is love personified. Therefore, faith in the love of God is faith in God. The easiest way to build your faith in God is by developing confidence in the love of God for you.
Learn to believe the love of God for you. Believe that God loves you always, deeply, passionately and unconditionally. Never entertain any doubt about God's love for you.
To doubt the love of God is to doubt the Person of God. When you question God's love for you, you are questioning both the integrity and existence of God.
Remember that God is love. So, as long as God is alive, He will always love you.
God is love and God is never changing. Therefore the love of God for us is never changing. It is always the same.
Sometimes, we tell little children that if they do something bad, Jesus will not love them. But this is not true at all.
There is nothing you will ever do that will cause God to love you less because love is not something that God does is Who He is.
Your wrongdoings can never stop God from loving you and can never decrease God's love for you.
However, wrongdoing can stop you from enjoying the love of God.
Learn to build your confidence in the love of God. That is real faith in God.
